Phil A. Jost, HSM, MBA
Vice President, Operations and Regional Manager

Phil is CanAm's VP Operations and Regional Manager for New Brunswick and PEI.
Phil started his health career in 1985 and has held various senior management positions in both Nova Scotia and PEI. He concluded his successful public health sector career as CEO of the West Prince Regional Health Authority in PEI in 2006, when he joined the CanAm team.

During his career Phil served as Chair of the Health Association of PEI, as a member of the PEI Physician Resource Planning Committee, as a Board Member of the Canadian Healthcare Association (CHA), as a member of the CHA National Roundtable on Health System Effectiveness, participated on numerous inter-provincial and national healthcare committees, and was invited to present his views on Canadian health reform to the Romanow Commission in 2002. He also authored a major paper entitled "Integrated eHealth Management: Canadian Health Care Renewal the Right Way", which went to national publication in 2007.

Phil sees his role with CanAm as another powerful channel to contribute to the betterment of the Canadian healthcare system by playing a pro-active role in the improvement of access to high quality physician services for Canadians.

Phil, a proud Maritimer, has three grown children and now lives with his wife Sandra, a Geriatric Nurse Specialist, in the city of Summerside, PEI.

Warren Bonnell
Medical Manager, Physician Recruitment Newfoundland

Warren Bonnell comes to CanAm with extensive experience in sales and marketing within the medical and pharmaceutical industry. As an accomplished sales and marketing professional since 1993, he has focused on meeting the needs of Atlantic Canadian medical community. His efforts in both the primary care and specialist disciplines, coupled with his education in business and public relations makes Warren a valued member of the CanAm team. His advanced skills in communications, relationship management, and as a solutions provider have proven to be a significant asset to CanAm's ongoing national and international corporate growth strategy.

Hedi Cameron
Manager and Medical Recruiter, Ontario

This marks a significant milestone in CanAm's national strategic growth initiative by strengthening the firm's presence in the Ontario medical recruitment market.

Ms. Cameron is an accomplished sales and marketing professional who has had a very successful career as a senior manager in some of Canada's largest communication companies. Her unique background, along with 20 years working in the Ontario business market will help to solidify CanAm's position as the leading physician recruitment company in Canada. Frank Peters
Medical Recruiter Nova Scotia

Frank comes to CanAm after a lengthy and distinguished career as Physician Recruitment Coordinator with the Nova Scotia Department of Health and previously as Physician Recruiter with Doctor's Nova Scotia in affiliation with the Department of Health.

Prior to entering public service Frank worked in the pharmaceutical industry. His positions included Medical Education Coordinator for Atlantic Canada, Hospital Specialty Representative for the Atlantic teaching hospitals and as a general representative serving Cape Breton and Newfoundland & Labrador.

Frank's wealth of medical services and physician recruitment knowledge is a welcome asset as CanAm continues to build on its business strategy to become Canada's physician recruitment agency of choice.

Myra El-Bayoumi
Job Board Manager

Myra El-Bayoumi, a resident of Halifax, Nova Scotia, is currently completing her final year of her Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a double major in Marketing and Global Business Management at Saint Mary's University. Myra's preference for the international side of business and her multicultural background contributed to her interest in truly international scope of the CanAm Physician Recruiting business model. In addition to her growing professional skills, Myra has managed to travel extensively in Europe and the middle east, and is conversant in English, French, Spanish and Arabic.
