The hospital is a designated campus of the Dalhousie University Post Graduate Medical Education Program and affiliated with Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN). The hospital is a large 500 bed tertiary care facility serving an urban and rural catchment population of 200,000. The hospital has more than 20 areas of specialty medicine and surgery and is supported by numerous research, education, health promotion activities and community partnerships.
Applicants must be eligible for:
- Licensure in the province of New Brunswick
- Canadian certification in your specialty and/or sub-specialty
- Or, US Board certification in your specialty and/or sub-specialty
- Or, IMG candidates with exceptional education, training, certification and experience may be considered.
- The successful candidate may be required to participate in the teaching program and may be eligible for an academic appointment.
