We have an immediate need for locum emergency room physician in beautiful Nova Scotia, Canada. This can also lead to full time post if interested.
The Aberdeen Hospital in New Glasgow, NS requires Emergency Room Physician to coverage ER shifts from March 14th to 23rd. There is flexibility but ideal candidate will cover 8am to 5pm. All expenses paid including accommodations and/or mileage. Rate of pay is $156 per hour.
The emergency department is a regional emergency department providing trauma service (Level II) and has approximately 30,000 visits per year. It is staffed by five full-time emergency physicians.
The Aberdeen Hospital is a regional facility providing a broad range of primary and secondary services through inpatient, outpatient and community-based services. The hospital has 104 beds. There are 26 specialists and 29 family physicians as well as 25 physicians having courtesy or consulting privileges.
