Description:
Currently recruiting an obstetrician/gynaecologist. The 313-bed Regional Health Centre serves a catchment area encompassing 4 Health Regions, with a recently opened ‘Single Room Maternity Care’ unit including a surgical theatre, 11 neonatal intensive care beds. A newly renovated general surgical unit supports the ‘state-of-the-art’ 7-theatre Surgical Suite. Diagnostic Services include Radiology, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine. The new ambulatory care program supports a variety of services including dialysis, chemotherapy, and telehealth.
There are over 100 physicians and specialists with admitting privileges at the health centre, as well as numerous medical clinics located throughout the city.
Must be eligible for registration & licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Manitoba.
Remuneration is fee-for-service with sessional rate for call rota.
