Description:
Currently recruiting an Anesthetist to join the present group of six. Surgical services provided include General Surgery, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Urology, Ophthalmology, and Dental Surgery.
The Regional Health Centre has 313 beds with a busy ER and a 6-bed ICU providing care to medical and post-surgery patients. Diagnostic Services include Radiology, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine. Additional services include Internal Medicine, including Neurology, Dialysis and Chemotherapy. Remuneration is fee-for-service; sessional rate for on site call rota.
Position located in a thriving city with a population of over 40,000. It is large enough to supply all the retail, medical, educational and cultural needs on a daily basis and small enough to avoid high costs of living and lengthy commutes.
Qualifications:
Must be eligible for registration & licensure with the College
