Description:
Our client is seeking a geriatrician to join the Department of Family Medicine. Medical sub-specialty services are offered to a regional population of up to 500,000 for tertiary services. The Geriatrics Program is based at regional hospital, a 400 bed referral hospital. It provides out-patient consultation, a Geriatric Day Hospital, and in-patient Geriatric Services. As well, there are approximately 2000 nursing home beds and 2000 Special Care Home beds in the region.
